1. What can I expect on my first driving lesson?

Answer: On your first lesson, your instructor will introduce themselves, check your provisional licence, and explain the basics of the vehicle. You’ll learn how to start and stop the car, understand the controls, and may even practice driving in a quiet area. The goal is to make you feel comfortable and build your confidence.

2. What should I bring to my first driving lesson?

Answer: Please bring your valid provisional driving licence, any glasses or contact lenses if you need them, and wear suitable footwear.

3. How do I book and manage my driving lessons?

Answer: You can book and manage your lessons directly with your instructor by phone or text.

4. How can I make payments for my lessons?

Answer: Payments can be made directly with your instructor. Cash payment is accepted at the start of your lesson and a receipt can be provided. Alternatively, you can pay by bank transfer.

5. What can I expect on my driving test?

Answer: During your driving test, an examiner will assess your driving skills, including your ability to control the vehicle, follow road rules, and respond to road conditions. The test typically includes a 40-minute drive with various manoeuvres such as parallel parking, reversing, and independent driving.

6. What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?

Answer: If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please notify your driving instructor at least 24 hours in advance, by phone, or text. This allows us to adjust the lesson without charging you for the lesson.

7. What happens if I need to change my driving test date?

Answer: If you need to change your driving test date, you can do so by contacting your driving instructor at the earliest possible opportunity. To ensure that you do not lose your test fee, this needs to be a minimum of 7 working days before your actual test.

8. How long does it take to learn to drive?

Answer: The time it takes to learn to drive varies from person to person. On average, most learners need around 40-45 hours of professional instruction, plus additional private practice. Your instructor will provide guidance on your progress and readiness for the test.
